Mark Almond
I was born in 1967 in Rossendale and played the piano as a boy. I took up the guitar at the age of 20 inspired by my hero John Renbourn (fingerstyle guitarist).
I have played in ceilidh bands as a rythmn guitarist, as a banjo player in an appalacia dance group and currently play in a duo called Lyte Flyte with violinist Ian Lunn since 2003.
I am a resident musician at Bacup Folk Club and play at the Flowers on Todmorden Road, Bacup most Friday nights. I enjoy music and entertaining and hope you do to. Come along and enjoy the evening.
